A poem says:
In one night the north wind shattered jade and jasper,and the chancellor seized the moment to offer a robe of brocade and fur,hoping only to turn the king’s heart and be rid of the evil thing —who knew he would touch a raw nerve and stir the king’s demon to mischief?
刳心已定千秋業，寵妒難羞萬載謠。可惜成湯賢聖業，化為流水逐春潮！

With his heart torn out, his deed for a thousand autumns was sealed;the jealous favourite’s shame lives on in songs for ten thousand years.Alas for the great work of Cheng Tang, so wise and sage,turned to running water, swept off on the spring tide!
且說比干將狐狸皮硝熟，造成一件袍襖，只候嚴冬進袍。──此是九月。瞬息光陰，一如撚指，不覺時近仲冬。紂王同妲己宴樂于鹿臺之上。那日只見：
彤雲密布，凜冽朔風。亂舞梨花，乾坤銀砌；紛紛瑞雪，遍滿朝歌。
怎見得好雪：

Now, Bi Gan had the fox skins cured and made into a fur robe, and he waited only for the depth of winter to present it — this was in the ninth month. Time flashes by like a snap of the fingers, and before anyone knew it midwinter was drawing near. King Zhou and Daji were feasting merrily on the Deer Terrace. That day
heavy clouds massed thickand the north wind blew bitter cold.Pear blossoms whirled wildlyand heaven and earth were paved with silver;the auspicious snow fell thick and fastand covered all Zhaoge.
