丞相興兵列戰車，虎賁將士實堪誇。諸侯鼓舞皆忘我，黎庶歌謳盡棄家。

A poem says:
The Chancellor raises his army and arrays the war chariots;his tiger-brave officers and men are truly worthy of praise.The lords rejoice, each forgetting himself;the common folk sing, and all leave their homes behind.
劍戟森羅飛瑞彩，旌旗掩映舞朝霞。須知天意歸仁聖，縱有征誅若浪沙。

Swords and halberds bristle, flashing auspicious colours;banners and pennons wave together, dancing in the morning clouds.Know that Heaven’s will turns to the humane and the sage;though there be war and slaughter, it is but waves upon the sand.
話說準提道人上嶺，大呼曰：「請孔宣答話！」少時，孔宣出營，見一道人來得蹊蹺。怎見得？有偈為證，偈曰：

Now, the Daoist Zhunti went up the ridge and called out in a loud voice, “Let Kong Xuan come and speak with me!” Before long Kong Xuan came out of his camp and saw a Daoist whose coming was something out of the ordinary. How so? There is a gatha to prove it. The gatha says:
