A poem says:
The Bodhisattva Zhunti was born in the West;deep are the roots of his virtue, his wonders beyond all measure.The lotus leaves, stirred by the wind, give rise to form and colour;the lotus flower, though no rain falls, stands as a bridge to the far shore.
金弓銀戟非防患，寶杵魚腸另有方。漫道孔宣能變化，婆娑樹下號明王。

Golden bow and silver halberd are not what he uses to ward off harm;the precious pestle and the Yuchang blade work in another way.Say no more that Kong Xuan can change and transform:beneath the sal tree he will be called a Wisdom King.

Now, Gao Jineng was fighting a great battle with the “Five Sacred Peaks”. His spear rolled and twisted like a silver python, swift as the wind and driving as the rain — a fearsome sight indeed. And how did the great battle look? There is a verse of praise to prove it. It says:
