王道從來先是仁，妄加征伐自沉淪。趨名戰士如奔浪，逐劫神仙斷燐。異術奇珍誰個是，爭強圖霸孰為真。不如閉目深山坐，樂守天真養自身。

A poem says:
The kingly way has always put benevolence first;wanton wars of conquest only drag men down.Soldiers chasing fame are like rushing waves;immortals chasing calamity, like guttering ghost-fires.Strange arts and rare treasures — which of them is right?Striving to be strongest, scheming to be overlord — what of it is real?Better to sit with closed eyes deep in the mountains,content to keep one’s true nature and nourish oneself.
話說聞太師聽吉立之言，忽然想起海島道友，拍掌大笑曰：「只因事冗雜，終日碌碌，為這些軍民事務，不得寧暇，把這些道友都忘卻了。不是你方纔說起，幾時得海宇清平。」分付吉立：「傳眾將知道：三日不必來見。你與余慶好生看守相府，吾去三兩日就回。」太師騎了墨麒麟，掛兩根金鞭，把麒麟頂上角一拍，麒麟四足自起風雲，霎時間週遊天下。有詩為證：

Now, when Grand Preceptor Wen heard what Ji Li said, he suddenly remembered his Daoist friends on the islands of the sea. He clapped his hands and laughed aloud: “Affairs have been so many and so tangled, and I’ve been so busy from morning to night with all these matters of the army and the people, without a moment’s peace, that I clean forgot these Daoist friends of mine. If you hadn’t just spoken of it, when would the land within the seas ever be at peace?” He instructed Ji Li: “Let the generals know they need not come to see me for three days. You and Yu Qing keep good watch over the residence. I’ll be gone two or three days and then back.” The Grand Preceptor mounted his black qilin, hung his two golden whips at its side and slapped the horn on the qilin’s head. Wind and cloud rose of themselves under the qilin’s four feet, and in the twinkling of an eye it could roam the whole world over. There is a poem to prove it:
四足風雲聲響亮，鱗生霧彩映金光，週遊天下須臾至，方顯玄門道術昌。
四足风云声响亮，鳞生雾彩映金光，周游天下须臾至，方显玄门道术昌。
Wind and cloud at its four feet, with a ringing roar;coloured mists rise from its scales and gleam with golden light.It roams the whole world over in a moment:here is proof that the Daoist arts flourish.
